The two watchmen...

Hallo allemaal!
Ok, hier een uitleg over de twee verschillende wachters...sorry, maar ik vertel het in het engels (goede oefening voor hier) omdat ik dit in het engels uitgelegd heb gekregen. Johanna is onze 'watchmen' bij ons huis. Hier later meer over. Nu eerst de twee verschillende watchmen...
In our life we face two different watchmen, one is a Saul's watchmen, the other is called a David's watchmen.
Saul's watchmen is a watchmen who is trying to control and/or manipulate you. They should protect you but they actually dont. Though they don't do it on purpose. They are jealous and beceause of their lack they can say things like; now you are going after God etc and have all these 'crazy' ideas and dreams...but when you are getting older it will go away and you will become 'normal' like us. They actually discourage you and want you to be with them.
The Saul's watchmen are in our lives so we can mature in love and take no offences.
(though its very frustrating...)
The David's watchmen is a watchmen who encourages and stimulates you to keep going after God. They are jealous for your relationship with God,laying down accountability, gently rebuking (but this is in love and not with condemnation <-the saul's watchmen)they protect you, they will pray you through things etc etc All very cool, good and positive. They speak words of life.
So its a process to become like a David's watchmen...cause like in one situation i am a horrible saul's watchmen, while in another moment i can be like a David's watchmen...what is my goal.
