The Emmanuel Center Report

The need is so much more than food.

The center has been open for almost two years, and I have been ministering to some of these kids for over four.

When people look at "street kids" they see the immediate need. They see a starving child or a dirty child who steals and lies to get money.

These children are like any other children. They have a need for love and they long for the opportunity to be something, to do something great.

These children want to trust, but after all that has been done to them and the things that they have seen it's hard for them to trust.

It is just now after two years, some four, that some of our guys' hearts are beginning to open and trust us beyond their daily needs. They are starting to share stories with us that would make you cry to think of the pain they have endured.

We praise God that they are letting Him heal their hearts! God is so faithful!

Our boys are becoming strong Godly men!
